Active Release Techniques (ART) is the Gold Standa Active Release Techniques (ART) is the Gold Standard for effectively treating musculoskeletal conditions. September is Pain Awareness Month. Unfortunately 1 September is Pain Awareness Month. Unfortunately 1/3 of the population suffers from chronic pain and many of these people seek medications to relieve the pain. While the medication can relieve the pain it will NOT address the cause. Remember pain is a way the body communicates that there is a problem and masking the signals does not address the cause. Finding and fixing the cause of one’s pain is the best way to help and that is what Active Release Techniques does quickly and effectively.

Is this the presence of darkness or the absence of Is this the presence of darkness or the absence of light?💡 Is sickness and disease the result of some present stressor 🦠 or the lack of proper cellular function? I would argue that our genetic blueprint 🧬 is health - proper cell function, steering us towards homeostasis or balance - our bodies will encounter various stressors (toxicities and deficiencies) that can drive us away from balance. Our choices and our living environment determine what we supply our cells with that they can use to fight back to our balance point or maintain that point. Our genes are created for homeostasis and health and the CANNOT move away from homeostasis UNLESS forced to adapt to a physical, emotional, chemical, energetic, or even a spiritual stressor.
We now live in a world of extreme conveniences. I We now live in a world of extreme conveniences. I think because of this, many think that to live a healthy life they have to make extreme sacrifices, be uncomfortable and be inconvenienced. This can seem daunting and many don’t even attempt to make the changes that could give them the life they truly desire. Change is uncomfortable at first but when you live the way your body was created and follow a process that is specific for you and allows your body to work more efficiently and you are able to see results within a short time makes it easier to stick with it.
Today June 17 is National Eat Your Vegetables Day. Today June 17 is National Eat Your Vegetables Day. We’ve been raised to know vegetables are good for us. They contain many vitamins and minerals and antioxidants, BUT… not all vegetables are good for all people. Vegetables contain molecules called lectins that our bodies can perceive as a threat and prompts a reaction within the body similar to how it responds to an invading bacteria or virus. It’s important to know your blood type and what foods - even so called healthy foods - are good for you or food you should avoid or at least limit in amount and frequency. This fall we will be running a program to help people live their best life based on epigenetics. What we eat, how we exercise, sleep and even think can affect our genetic expression 🧬. You will be surprised that it’s not the same for everyone. What is good for one person may not be the best for others. This will explain why some do well with the latest fad diet or exercise while others barely see any positive results at all!Stay tuned to upcoming dates. #NationalDay #Nationaleatyourveggiesday #ActiveHealthcare #eatright4yourtype

In the world of running, injuries are not merely s In the world of running, injuries are not merely setbacks but are intricately connected to a physiological sequence known as the cumulative strain/injury cycle. This cycle encompasses both acute and repetitive injuries, each with its unique mechanisms and consequences.
Active Release Techniques (ART) is this type of treatment. It works so well because the practitioner can find the exact muscle, tendon, ligament, fascia or nerve that is exhibiting improper function and movement. By locating and treating the lesion using the precise Active Release Technique (ART) the friction and tension is reduced restoring the circulation to the affected area and the body then can quickly function and move properly again.
